Is olasty still in beta? Will there be bugs?
Olasty is still in beta. This means that the platform is not yet fully stable and you might encounter bugs or incomplete features. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to improve the platform.

What are the costs associated with using Olasty?
Olasty is completely free to use from our side. Payment providers like Stripe take about a 3% cut of sales you make, and fulfillment providers like Prodigi have their own pricing for products and shipping.
Can I customize the look of my store?
Olasty is essentially e-commerce as a service. That means we own the UI/UX of your site. Of course, you can still customize the branding and content of your site.
This means that you don't really have to worry about designing your store or creating the best possible UX for your customers. We continuously monitor usage data across all Olasty sites and make the best-converting UI/UX decisions on your behalf.
You can think of your Olasty store as your profile on marketplaces like RedBubble or FineArtAmerica, etc., except that it's on your own domain, using your own branding, and with total freedom to sell and fulfill your orders however you want.
This way, we can give you the smooth experience marketplaces offer, but without the extra cut of your sales.
Do I need to upload my artworks to my store in full resolution?
Not really. If you choose to fulfill orders yourself, all you need are images that are good enough for the web.
However, if you choose to have your orders fulfilled by a fulfillment provider (we currently only support Prodigi), we will forward orders directly to them as they come in. That means we need to have the full-resolution artwork on file so your prints come out perfectly.
For any artwork you upload and choose to be fulfilled by a fulfillment provider, we advise that you upload the full-resolution image. We will show a scaled-down version of the artwork to your site visitors and only use the full-resolution image to place the order with the fulfillment provider.
What products can I sell my artwork on?
We currently support selling original artworks, canvas prints, and posters. We’ll be expanding our catalog to include more products in the near future.
What aspect ratios are supported?
We currently support 1:1, 2:3 (vertical & horizontal), and 3:4 (vertical & horizontal).
How do my customers pay me?
Your Olasty store comes with built-in integration with Stripe. Your customers pay you directly via your Stripe account.
Can I choose to make my own prints and ship them myself?
Absolutely.
How does Olasty compare to other art marketplaces and generic site builders?
Olasty is built from the ground up for artists and creatives. Creating and managing an art store with a generic tool gives you great flexibility, but that comes at the cost of complexity.
Many creatives just want a place where their customers can go to buy their products without the added headache. That’s largely the appeal of marketplaces. Olasty gives you that experience, but in a setting where you OWN your store.
The upside is that when you share a link to your store on social media, you’re sending potential customers to your store, not to a marketplace where they might end up buying from a competitor.
The downside is that we don’t generate traffic for your store. That’s why it might be worth having your Olasty store alongside your other marketplace stores. That way, you can direct any traffic generated by your own efforts to your private Olasty store.
Will Olasty be free forever?
We currently don’t have any plans to make Olasty a paid service. If anything changes in the future, we’ll make sure to give you notice well in advance.
Will Olasty use my artworks to train AI?
No, we won’t.
Does Olasty provide printing or shipping services? How about customer support for my store?
No. Olasty just gives you the technology you need to launch your store. You’ll have to manage orders and customer support yourself.
